Easy Ways to Make your Home Smell Amazing

Stovetop Simmer

This is a great way to make your house smell incredible. This is done by boiling some nice and smelly ingredients. Fill your pot half-way with water; add any combination of nice ingredients like oranges, cinnamon, and vanilla extract. Let it simmer for a couple of hours and let this fragrance fill the atmosphere.

Joe Fresh

Have you seen some cups with coffee grinds in some perfume store? What are they doing there? Coffee grinds can deodorize any space in your home. Just put them in a bowl or small bottle with cap holes. Put them anywhere you want like in your closet, bedroom, and kitchen. There you have it, instant deodorizing agent 

Vanilla Vibes

Tired of bad odor of your freezer? Here is a great way to deodorize it – use vanilla extract. There are two ways to use it. Essential oils can also help you deodorize your house. If you have a nebulizer, you can add essential oils to that. Another way is to get a cotton ball and put it in a bowl. Add about 15 drops of your favorite essential oils or blend essential oils and placed it anywhere you like. You can do a mix of essential oils if you want. 

Here are some tricks and fun ways to use essential oils in your house.

1. Drop five or ten drops of your favorite essential oil to your furnace filter every time you change it.

2. Put a few drops of oils on your light bulb. This way you can disperse nice gentle smell every time you turn on the lights.

Baking Soda Braun

Baking soda is great for cleaning but even better for deodorizing. Put some of it in a container then place it anywhere around the house and it will simply absorb odors. The other thing you can do with baking soda is to put it in a sachet and put it in a closet or cabinets it will really help remove odors. You can also use baking soda on the carpet, upholstery, and other soft surfaces. Just sprinkle it there and leave for 10 to 15 minutes then vacuum it up.
